Assessment-Weed Tax Report
November 1, 2016 - October 31, 2017
The following listed properties have outstanding bills against them for cutting and removal of weeds and worthless vegetation. The contracted cutting was done in accordance with the City of Lincoln's Municipal Code Chapter 8.46 Weed Abatement after due notification to the owner of record. If these bills remain unpaid, the owners of the properties will be notified of a special assessment hearing to be held in December in front of the City Council for the purpose of assessing such cost against such real estate. Such assessment shall be a lien upon such real estate from the date of assessment, and shall become delinquent fifty days after the date of assessment, and shall draw interest at a rate set by the City Council from said date until paid.
