Here we are in the month of August - and what better time than the peak of Summer Days to hear from our City Parks and Recreation Director, Lynn Johnson. Mr. Johnson will begin the meeting with an update on the improvements at Mahoney Park; and then move into a broader discussion on the Long Range Funding for Parks & Trails.

Lincoln, through hard work and planning, has become a city renowned for its beautiful parks and fantastic trail system. Our city is a wonderful place to live and our parks and trails are one of the reasons why. Mr. Johnson will offer his plan for Long Range Parks Funding; a plan that is necessary if we are to insure that our parks and trails remain a center of beauty and recreation for our children and grandchildren.
