Our speakers this month, Don Herz, Finance Director, and Steve Hubka, Budget Officer, think about our money continually! They’ll be able to tell us how our City brings in revenue, exactly where the money goes, and how it changes with each budget. Questions we all want answers to.

We enjoy Lincoln’s rated parks and trails, terrific libraries, the security of the fire department, police protection, StarTran, not to mention public works and utilities which most of us take for granted. How do we support the Capital Improvement Plan, the General Fund, and other programs for the City’s emergent economic development?

These are but a few questions Don and Steve will answer. They’ll give us time to ask specific questions during this meeting, helping each of us understand what amount is needed to keep our City at the standard we’re enjoying now and what will be needed to sustain and move forward into the future.
