Usually everyone has pretty typical days BUT at this meeting you’ll hear about the atypical type of day experienced by Lincoln firefighters. Captain Bob Borer, Captain Shawn Mahler, and Firefighter/Paramedic Craig Clark of Fire Station #5 will meet with us to talk about their TYPICAL day.

We know firefighters and paramedics receive rigorous training and they’ll tell us how this training coupled with compassion work together. How calls from elderly people result in not only remedying the problem but also makes them feel happy and safe in their homes. There are horrendous fires which occur but what about the ones which obviously could be easily avoided? Each and every incident has a story.

Captain Bob Borer, Captain Shawn Mahler, and Firefighter/Paramedic Craig Clark will answer questions about their duties, experiences, and people they will never forget.
