This month our guest speaker is Don Taute, Personnel Director of the City of Lincoln, and Lancaster County. Don will expand on his job responsibilities explaining how applicants are recruited, tested and selected for employment. NOW, if you think that comprises most of his responsibilities GUESS AGAIN.

The Personnel Department coordinates employee training, conducts salary reviews, performs classification studies and recommends compensation rates. The Personnel Department also maintains employee records and administers the insurance and benefit programs, oversees the Employee Assistance Program, the Drug and Alcohol Testing program and Don always has labor relations in the forefront. A short question and answer period will follow giving everyone the opportunity to ask specific questions.

This meeting will be very informational and not a meeting to miss!
