Would you like to know who, and how, the Human Services Administration responds to and helps in our community? This month the Director of Human Services, Kit Boesch, will be our guest speaker. Kit will be able to explain how her office facilitates numerous programs helping our community respond to human needs in the most collaborative, cost efficient, and expedient manner, with the resources available.

Working through the Joint Budget Committee, for City and County Human Services funding, Kit maintains an overview of projects, having worked with 36 agencies and 60 programs during the past year. If you have a particular committee or project you’re interested in now is the chance to ask how we, as a community, are helping as Kit has an amazing recall of each program! Sounds like overseeing this many programs is a job and a half - BUT - Kit’s office also writes many, many grants plus oversees federal grants and state contracts.
