Doug Ahlberg, Director of Emergency Management, is our guest speaker this month and very busy! Well known as the Director of Lancaster County Emergency Management he is out in the thick of any storm. Being knowledgeable about what storm conditions to look for he then implements the action needed to keep us safe. As he explains the signs, warnings and actions to be taken during severe weather, he will answer questions.

Adding to his list of responsibilities Doug is a key person in the preparation for pandemic flu. We’ve all heard about the pandemic flu but Doug, along with the Health Department, Governor, various private and government officials, are coordinating their efforts in preparation for an efficient response and necessary plan when we are faced with the pandemic flu.
