Here we are in the month of July - and what better time than the peak of Summer Days to hear from Doug Bantam, Vice President of Power Supply at the Lincoln Electric System.

Probably everyone in Lincoln realizes how lucky we are that LES is one of the most efficient electric utilities in the nation, and Doug will explain how Lincoln Electric System is able to provide our energy while keeping rates among the nation’s lowest!

Other items of interest to Lincoln citizens may include the two large white windmills by the Interstate and Doug will inform us of the success of these wind turbines; and/or explain how LES was able to implement only a temporary surcharge when the ice storm caused high costs; and/or LES’s involvement in community programs; the list goes on and on.
