NORTHEAST CITIZENSí MEETING
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2007
A new and different format for this meeting! Bring friends, relatives, neighbors as this month Doug Emery, our host, will also be our guest speaker! What a great chance to meet (just in case you havenít) the City Council representative for the Northeast District, AND if you want to know how a Councilman analyzes projects (possibly he may admit the amount of time spent is very significant), or what committee, agency, working group truly is his passion(s), this is the meeting!
Doug grew up in the Northeast Lincoln area and he and his wife, Denise, have raised their two children in the same neighborhood. After retirement from a career with the U. S. Post Office, he now proudly represents his District on the Lincoln City Council. While serving on assigned City Committees, Doug serves his constituents unusually well, still privately volunteers extensively, and lends a helping hand and guidance to fellow Council members.
The complete meeting will provide citizens the chance to really get to know Doug Emery.
