DOUG EMERY'S

NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2007

** Note the date change **

Last Thursday of October

Do we understand the reasons why, and when, we need building permits? What the required inspections are? What the Lincoln zoning codes really mean? We have lots of why’s - when’s - and how come’s! On Thursday, October 25th, the Director of Lincoln’s Building and Safety Department, Mike Merwick, will help us comprehend, and appreciate, why certain rules or ordinances apply.

Please join us to hear Mike give details on how one of the busiest offices in the City adheres to requirements when issuing permits and handling inspections for buildings, electrical, plumbing, etc. He will answer questions on building and safety, while shedding light on what customers can expect with service timelines, and how Building and Safety assures housing and commercial building safety is maintained in the construction, or use, of every building in the community.

Please join us on:
