Our guest speaker, Diane Gonzolas, is presenting us with a wonderful way to start off our 2007 meetings. As the manager of the City’s Citizen Information Center (CIC) since 1998, Diane’s office serves the Lincoln community with the creative development, production and distribution of City government information. In some instances (e.g. snow emergencies) the information of timely communication is crucial.

Diane previously worked for Governor Ben Nelson, KOLN-KGIN TV in Lincoln and as a television and newspaper journalist in Kansas, Missouri and Minnesota. With this wealth of knowledge and familiarity Diane will tell how CIC provides graphic design, special event coordination, video production and Web support, as well as answering some unusual questions from citizens.

Of special interest is the information Diane will provide on how changes in the media and technology have changed the way they provide information to citizens. Questions will be welcome!
