NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2008
Ever wonder how businesses and industries decide Lincoln would be the ideal setting in which to locate? Our guest speakers will explain, and answer questions, on ways the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) influences companies to move, or expand, into Lincoln. At our July meeting Wendy Birdsall, President of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED), is joined by Jason Smith, Vice-President of Business Development and Economic Development for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED).
This speaking duo will share how LPED provides focused direction for Lincoln’s economic development activities. Also, while the Partnership works to attract new investments and jobs they continually offer assistance to Lincoln’s existing companies.
Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development is a perfect example of a hard-working, visionary organization working to strengthen and enhance our community. Wendy and Jason will be here to answer any questions we may have.
