NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2008
First, have you ever experienced a fire? Do you know what a fire investigator and inspector look for in determining cause? Second, have you ever been scared, and notified to leave a building because a bomb might be somewhere in the structure? Third, what does the Bureau of Fire Prevention do, and how long has it been in existence? Fourth, how does one achieve the rank of Chief? The list goes on and on.
This month, on Thursday, October 16, 2008 we welcome Bill Moody, Chief Fire Inspector and Bomb Squad Commander. Bill has a degree in Fire Protection Technology, served 6 years as a firefighter and 18 as an investigator/inspector. He became Chief Investigator/Bomb Squad Commander in 1999.
