You may remember our speaker this month from when he was a teacher, a State Senator, or from portraying U. S. Senator George Norris on PBS. We are very excited to have David Landis, Director of Lincoln’s Urban Development Department present this month.

After serving 28 years as Senator in the Nebraska Legislature the City of Lincoln welcomed him into service as the Urban Development Department Director. The Department contains many divisions but one of David’s top priorities is the coordination of existing city wide resources, public and private, to create economic and employment opportunities.

David will explain how projects form, money is secured, public participation obtained, and then combining all aspects together in order to sustain Lincoln’s continued growth and stability.

David will provide time to answer your specific questions.
