NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING

We’re very happy to have Michael Snodgrass, NeighborWorks®Lincoln, as our guest speaker this month. Michael is the Executive Director of NeighborWorks®Lincoln and throughout his career has worked on community and economic development, joining NeighborWorks®Lincoln in 2007

As Executive Director, Michael has guided NeighborWorks®Lincoln to numerous accomplishments. Some are:

• NeighborWorks®Lincoln’s recent groundbreaking ceremony for the Antelope Creek Village

• The partnership with Lincoln Public Schools and the house completion at 2835 S St.

• The new mural on North 27th Street

• Awarded the Youthbuild grant from the U.S. Department of Labor

• Special programs and activities such as:

• Home rehab with purchase

• Troubled properties repaired or replaced

• Teaming with UNL College of Architecture to build neighborhood homes

The list goes on which illustrates why you won’t want to miss this meeting. Michael has left time open for a question and answer period.
