COUNCILMAN DOUG EMERY'S
NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, JUNE 17, 2010

Our guest speaker,Charlotte Burke, Manager of the Division of Health Promotion and Outreach of the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department, asks the question, “Are We Becoming A Healthier Lincoln?”

Chronic health conditions and obesity affect the quality of life of individuals and add a tremendous economic burden to our health care system. How we live our lives, how active we are, our food choices, and if we use tobacco are the most influential factors related to chronic health issues.

Charlotte will discuss the local impact of chronic conditions and obesity and what is happening in our community to address these significant health issues. She will leave time to answer any questions you may have

We look forward to seeing you on
