MILO MUMGAARD
SENIOR POLICY AIDE FOR SUSTAINABILITY

This month we bring you a speaker with years of accumulated knowledge, and experience, on the requested subject of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable job creation, Milo Mumgaard.

Milo serves as the principle legal and policy advisor to Mayor Beutler on the goal of making Lincoln the “Green Capital City of the Great Plains” through the Mayor’s “Cleaner Greener Lincoln” sustainability initiative. Milo is responsible for programming and directing use of federal Recovery Act funds to promote a wide range of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, in particular efforts to upgrade thousands of buildings and create good paying “green” jobs.

Bring your questions on how we can facilitate energy savings at home, in our neighborhood, and at business levels throughout our City. Milo will answer and give explanations on how we can accomplish.
