NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, JULY 28, 2011

After intensely working on Lincoln’s city budget we are very fortunate to have Steve Hubka, Budget Officer for the City of Lincoln, as our speaker this month. With the budget to the point of the City Council’s preliminary vote on changes to the Mayor’s recommended budget Steve will present, then discuss and answer our questions.

Steve facilitate information from elected officials, City departments, and the public to make the best decisions possible but he has also accepted the position of Interim Finance Director, when current Finance Director Herz retires at the end of August.

Steve is the voice of reason and fiscal responsibility regarding Lincoln’s financial challenges, and after his presentation he will leave time for specific questions from the audience.
