NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2011

Miki Esposito, Interim Public Works and Utilities Director, is our guest speaker this month and will present “A Day Without Public Works”. As Director, Miki oversees Engineering, Lincoln’s Water System, StarTran, Street and Traffic Operations, and Watershed Management, along with supervising the Business Office and customer fees.

Miki was recently appointed Interim Public Works & Utilities Director by Mayor Chris Beutler. She is an attorney who specializes in environmental law and regulation. Prior to her new assignment, she worked as the Department’s Compliance Administrator.

Miki’s Public Works & Utilities responsibilities include, but are not limited to, street repair and patching, snow removal, water and wastewater operations, and coordinating/assisting employees in various functions. Now, imagine “A Day Without Public Works”.
