The Director of Human Services, Kit Boesch, is our guest speaker in June and will talk about the Juvenile Justice Program.
About 20 years ago Juvenile Justice was placed under Human Services. The theory was that youth often make dumb mistakes but not necessarily criminal ones. Youth need guidance - not court imposed sanctions. The result has been a very cost effective and successful way of working with Lincoln’s youth. Find out what the crime rate for juveniles is in this area of town. You might be surprised!!!After her presentation Kit has agreed to open the floor to your questions.
