City Council Office
KIT M. BOESCH
HUMAN SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR
Kit has been the Human Services Administrator for Lincoln/Lancaster County for nearly 30 years! Originally from Wisconsin she also is the founder of the Lincoln Fencing Club; loves to golf, read and play guitar. Kit became a Grandma for the first time on December 1st.
Within the Human Services Department we find the Juvenile Justice Office. This position supervises our Graduated Sanctions Program and approximately $1.5 million in grants and contracts. Kit is here to tell us what Graduated Sanctions are, why they are important in the Juvenile Justice field and how it affects our neighborhoods. Over the past 30 years Kit has designed some sanctions and brought others to Lincoln.
When dealing with issues like gang violence, we often touch the adult criminal justice system too; encountering older youth ages 18 - 24. Agencies like The Hub and programs like Project Everlast are equally important to this community and the Human Services office.
Kit will answer your questions after the presentation.
