COUNCILWOMAN CYNDI LAMM'S
NORTHEAST CITIZENS’ MEETING
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2017

CYNDI LAMM, LINCOLN CITY COUNCIL
ELAINE HAMMER, GREAT PLAINS TRAILS NETWORK

Lincoln Council Member Cyndi Lamm, and Elaine Hammer, Great Plains Trails Network, will host our Northeast Citizens’ Meeting this month!

Councilwoman Cyndi Lamm, the City Council Northeast District representative, will speak on citizen volunteer opportunities for improving Student Safety in Northeast Lincoln. This topic is near and dear to Cyndi and she determined there are specific locations which she has canvassed and surveyed. After her investigations and inspections Cyndi has determined certain sites to be in particular need of volunteers to help ensure student safety.

Cyndi will explain reasons, feeling confident her assessments and motives will lead to more volunteers and safety for Northeast Districts’ children.

Elaine Hammer, Great Plains Trails Network, and currently on the GPTN Board of Directors, will explain how the trails system is thriving in Lincoln. She is now leading the effort to complete the Murdoch Trail and will speak to how, with the Nebraska Trails Foundation, they want to put the final touches on the Trail.

Elaine will give details on the City paving the Murdock Trail from 56th to 70th Streets. A gravel trail for runners will also be constructed along the paved trail. GPTN is raising money to support this much needed improvement.

Both Cyndi and Elaine will leave time to answer your questions.
