Meeting called to order at 2000 by President Densberger.
Roll call answered by Bennet, Ceresco, Crete, Firth, Hallam, Hickman, Malcolm, Pleasant Dale, Raymond, Southeast, Southwest, Waverly, Valparaiso, Health Department, 911, NE Forest Service and Emergency Management.
Minutes from the meeting at Firth Fire Panama station read.
Treasurers report was presented. Motion to accept by Southeast second by Pleasant Dale.
OLD BUSINESS
None presented.
NEW BUSINESS
The 911 center will be working out of the backup center for 24 Hrs on 6/30/04. They also have their new electronic mapping system in place in the main 911 center. Jim and Doug Ahlberg are trying to recoup the costs to Mutual aid departments from the Hallam tornado. Doug will be filing an APR for us. He needs the exact time a piece of equipment was used. He suggested we start building a billing process for use between mutual aid departments for equipment and manpower. the 2004 ODP money came in and will allow for the purchase of one mobile repeater for each department. Cretes new aerial is in service.
COMMUNICATIONS
Each Chief will be allowed an additional $5,000.00 to spend on radio equipment. Every transport ambulance in the mutual aid association will be able to have an 800 conventional radio in the cab and an 800 trunked radio in the back. Jim would like to give the Chiefs another month to turn in equipment requests. All of the pagers are in to D & D and the 800 equipment for 911 was shipped on 6/17/04
