Meeting called to order at 2000 by Vice President Reifschneider

Roll call answered by Bennet, Crete, Douglas, Firth, Lincoln, Palmyra, Pleasantdale, Raymond, Southeast, Waverly, Health Department, 911, NE Forest Service, Emergency Management and Starcare Minutes from the meeting at the Malcolm fire station read and approved. Treasurer's report presented and approved by motion from Southeast 2nd by Firth.

Brian Johnson from Waverly says the City of Waverly has some problems with the MA billing agreement is why they haven't signed theirs. Work is starting on getting the mini fire school up and running. It will be held on Saturday March 26th at the SCC fire science building. The committee has had several meetings and the classes are about all finalized. The SFM training division will be presenting an ICS class with simulation and a propane class. EMS INC will give an EMS class and it looks like there will also be a class on what to do when you have a fallen firefighter. Flyers should be mailed out shortly to everyone. Also 911 will make an announcement of the school every Monday night during the pager test. The radio shop reports that all the tower preamps are up and operating except Nextel and this should be up soon. The radio shop has moved the direction of the south antenna for better coverage. Several departments report needing garage door openers for Bryan/LGH West.

Starcare is passing around a contact list at the meeting tonight. They would like a contact person for each department to set up classes with ETC. Palmyra asked about buying any low band radios we might not need any longer. They think it will be a while before Otoe County goes to a different frequency. Eric Rasmussen brought up that Fire School preregistration would start around 3/1/05 and go through 4/30/05. Registration will be $75.00 for members and $125.00 for non-members. He also said that VFA cost share money is again available this year. Applications should be mailed out to the fire chiefs. Doug Ahlberg says that the 2005 grant money is supposed to be coming out before 2/16/05.

The 911 Incident dispatch team made a short presentation after the meeting was adjourned.The Incident dispatch team is available for assistance to the Incident commander and command staff for any incident. They are able to set up a command post. Set up on scene communication and documentation for any type of incident. The can be requested through the 911 center and can typically respond in 45 minutes or less. Motion to adjourn at 2112
