OLD BUSINESS
The Mini Fire School Committee had an after action and looked at the evaluations in a meeting just prior to this meeting. We would like to have the school on the first or second weekend in April of 2006. Phil Nalley from Southwest Fire will chair next years committee. We will ask for more volunteers to be on the committee next month. We will also discuss setting a firm date and classes next meeting. We would like to find a bigger facility for the Mini Fire School than SCC depending on attendance numbers.
There was a question to the radio shop about which of our 800 frequencies are being taped on 911's data logger. At this time only North and South Dispatch are being recorded. Ray Ryan said that the console is out of room for channels to be recorded but the data logger will handle more.
Jim has a contact for Bryan/LGH West ER garage door openers. "Ruth Radenslader" at 481-9052 Giver her your department name and unit numbers and they will get door openers for you. The Radio shop will be checking the signal strength on SouthTac. They will report on this next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
Bill Lyons with the Health Department Hazmat team will be going to work at UNL. The Health Department will be short one responder until a replacement is hired. Scott Zager from the Redcross will try to begin attending our meetings. Hickman wanted to thank everyone who helped them out during the EMS license issue.
