Ray from the radio shop spoke with Doug and Jim about repeaters. Will have Doug from D & D at the April meeting to talk about the repeaters. Doug Ahlberg has asked that one person from the Mutual Aid Association be involved in the planning committee for the airshow excersises. Eric Rasmussen has volunteered. Some of the aircraft from Offut Airbase will be operating from the Lincoln Airbase due to runway repair at Offut from about 5/1/06 until 10/1/06. The second reading on the tower agreement with Nextel was 3/27/06. The health Department has chosen Environmental Solutions as their HAZMAT cleanup entity.
Eric Rasmussen says the VFA cost share deadline is 4/15/06. Fire school registration is in progress. Eric would like us to get issues we want discussed by the NSVFA and the legislature so the can be discussed at the October convention. Dan Wright has 9 pails of surplus Lincoln Airport Authority of 6 % AFFF that can be given to a mutual aid department contact him if you are interested. NEMA has contacted Doug Ahlberg and said shortly after 4/1/06 they will know how much money is available to Nebraska for the Homeland security grants. EVENTS
