The location for the Airshow tabletop excercises are 8/12/06 at the Airguard. (excercise went well) Attended by Firth, Malcolm and Southeast. and 8/23/06 at the health department. The scenario at the tabletop on /12/06 was specifically geared towards county response. Southwest received the audit back and the total cost was $5200.00. Raymond asked about trying to get better communications with city medic units. Dan Wright has put it out as a topic for the paramedics to reply too and I will bring these to the next meeting. The Health department warned us of a new meth cooking method called jar cooking. This is very dangerous and if you respond to any of these use extreme caution. Chuck from Firth has apparently been getting some questions directed to him that should be answered by someone from LFR. He has no idea why. Palmyra asked if there was someway they could be toned out by 911 on 39.90 for the storm alerts. They apparently donít receive them very well for Nebraska City. Jim is going to get someone from the Health department who administers their burn permits to our next meeting for questions and answers.
***Next meeting August 21st at the SCC/LFR classroom 2000 HRS***
