Meeting was called to order at 20:00 by Pres. Densberger
Roll call was answered by: Bennet, Crete, Douglas, Firth, Hallam, Hickman, Malcolm, Palmyra, Pleasant Dale, Raymond, Southeast , Health Department, 911 and Emergency Management
Minutes from May meeting read and approved.
Treasurers report from May and June read and approved. Bill submitted by Greg Hall from the EMS committee for $ 111.05 read and approved for payment by motion from Southeast second by Douglas.
NEW BUSINESS
Pete from the Radio shop came and gave a presentation on the rebanding. This should be all done or mostly all done by the next meeting. Pete will also be reprogramming the EDACS radios in the back of our ambulances in August. Greg Hall asked for Raymond that if you are doing storm spotting if you would move to an alternate channel so not to tie up the primary channels
A motion was made to only start paging out warnings rather than watches from now on. Motion by Southeast second by Hallam. Motion carried, I will find out from Julie what she needs in the way of a letter to get this accomplished.
Hickman would like to request an unrestricted permit from the Health Department for a house they use for a training burn on Saltillo road. Eric Rasmussen says all departments should’ve received a packet from the NSVFA for renewal of membership in both the NSVFA and the Chiefs association.
EMS
RFP’s have been sent out. They are working on responses at this time. a motion was made at this meeting to create a sub committee to the LCMA board so that the EMS committee has the authority to sign for the association. Motion by Malcolm second by Pleasant Dale. Motion carried
