Treasurers report read and approved, motion by Palmyra, second by Pleasant Dale.
Danko says that if we order the safety vests as a mutual aid association they will lower the price to around $12.00 per vest. At this time they are backordered for the foreseeable future. Doug also said that the accident ahead signs he has ordered are back ordered. DOT is rewriting the law to allow bunker gear with reflective striping to be worn without a vest in the hot zone at an accident scene.
Palmyras newer pumper is in service as of 10/19/08. Waverly asked us to check on why they didn't receive all the information on a dispatch that LFR paramedics got on a call to the High School on a fall through the bleachers. I will have 911 research this and either I or Lindsey will have an answer at the next meeting. St. E's would like incoming units to write down the name address and ss # of patients they bring in and have it given to the registrar to speed up the process. Bruce Messenger from Hickman wanted to express their gratitude and thanks to all who helped out with their recent Firefighter death. Crete has some hose for sale brand new 2 1/2 " would like to get $75-$80 per 50 foot length. Contact Jack with Crete if you are interested. The new resource manual from Emergency management should be done by the end of next month. The association is going to buy snacks for the next meeting.
Only 3 departments left to decide Hickman, Ashland and Eagle/Alvo. The invoices for 1st quarter billing will be coming out soon. Greg will get out signed copies of the agreement as soon as he gets them back.
