Meeting called to order at 20:00 by Vice president Reifschneider

Roll call answered by Bennet, Cortland, Crete, Eagle, Firth, Hickman, Lincoln, Malcolm, Palmyra, Pleasant Dale, Raymond, Southeast, Southwest, Waverly, Health Department, 911, Emergency Management and Starcare.

Minutes approved as read.

Treasurer’s report read and approved. Bill for printing for the EMS contract for $51.84 presented by Greg Hall and approved.

OLD BUSINESS:
Eric Rasmussen says that the fireworks bills have been merged into one bill. No other updates on bills of any concern to the Association.

NEW BUSINESS:
Southeast is doing a house burn on 4/18. On 4/17 prior to the burn they are hosting a mimi arson investigation seminar. Crete has a new ambulance they just put in service. They also received a grant for a new compressor and airpacks. Several departments are discussing charging for car accidents and HAZMAT fire response. A Lancaster County mini Fire School was brought up for next winter. Also talking about wo rking with Otoe county on theirs. Bring ideas to the next meeting. Eagle brought up the idea of having border calls for departments having both departments dispatched the way Bennet and Southeast do now.

EMS:
Greg Hall has copies of the EMS contract for those who want them.

• EVOC class Palmyra 4/23 and 4/24
• Raymond Fire open house 4/25 10 AM to 2 PM
• Southwest Fire VEHEXT 5/7, 5/8 and 5/9
• State Fire school 5/21, 5/22 and 5/23
• NEMA state terrorism functional exercise 9/22 at the Greenwood fuel storage area.
