Meeting called to order at 20:06 by President Densberger

Roll call answered by Bennet, Cortland, Crete, Firth, Hallam, Hickman, Lincoln, Malcolm, Palmyra, Pleasant Dale, Raymond, Southeast, Southwest, Waverly, Health Department , Emergency Management and 911.

Minutes approved.

Treasurer’s report read and approved. Motion by Crete 2nd by Palmyra

BUSINESS:
NSVFA and Chiefs association dues are due. We are forming a committee to look at new pagers and to try and get a grant for them. The committee will be headed by Phil Nalley and will have Craig Schreiter and John Porter on it. Pete from the radio shop has been asked to attend our next meeting for questions. Ron Hutt from NEMA will also be asked to attend to talk about the statewide radio system. Palmyra’s new ambulance is in service as are Southeast’s two new engines. Crete has a new air compressor. The NSVFA annual meeting will be in Chadron this year. The NSVFA will be having a legislative summit in August to look at issues for 2011. The museum memorial garden is under construction and should be finished in August or early September. We will also be asking Paul Haith to attend the next meeting to talk about Fire Department billing. The State Fire Marshals part time training staff is funded and will begin training again.

EMS:
Still need a few 3rd quarter back. Working on the 2011 contract now.

• NEMA state terrorism functional exercise 9/22 at the Greenwood fuel storage area.
