Treasurer’s report read and approved. Motion by Southeast 2nd by Palmyra.
Members of the new EMS oversight committee attended the meeting to explain how they are working on putting the new County and City EMS oversight together now that EMS INC is dissolving. Deb Schoor is heading the current group along with Rick Hoppe from the Mayors office and Dr Ed Mlinek from BryanLGH. BUSINESS
The State fallen Firefighters service will be 10/10/10 at 10:00 AM at the museum. They will also dedicate the garden at that time. The National Fire Academy is in danger of being cut due to lack of attendance. Look at going to some classes it’s all free ! Doug says IS 300 and 400 will be scheduled some time after thanksgiving. Doug asked about scheduling another one of the TEEX wide area search classes after the first of the year. They would be willing to do it over a weekend. Hickman would like to thank everyone for all the help with Leons funeral. The State terrorism exercise went well. Lucky Mike Binder from waverly worked his butt off but did a great
