BUSINESS
Scott Loos from the Airguard Fire Department attended the meeting to talk about this falls Airshow. There will be a tabletop exercise 7/18/11 during the day and the July Mutual Aid meeting that night will also be dedicated to running the tabletop again so Mutual Aid members can attend. We will be moving the meeting to the Health Department Conference room to facilitate this. This will be simulating a crash off Airport property. There will also be a functional exercise in August. Scott can be contacted at 402 304 9093 if you have questions. The Radio Shop will attend the next meeting so we can discuss paging and radio problems with them. Redcross wanted to thank Malcolm for their assistance with the Pawnee lake incidents. They are also looking for new volunteers for their Disaster Response Team. Emergency Management has been approves to purchase two sideview sonars for incidents of this type

EMS
Third quarter invoices are out. The EMS Committee should have met again by the time of our next meeting.

• Hazmat IQ this summer in Lavista.
• Palmyra Fire Department 100th Anniversary June 2012.
• Southwest Fire Summer Shootout paintball contest 7/16/11 0900. Registration deadline 7/1/11. Ten person teams. This is to benefit Samantha Wubbels who is back in Childrens Hospital after suffering another brainstem stroke. All proceeds will go to pay her medical bills.
