Meeting was called to order by President Densberger.
Roll call was answered by Bennet, Crete, Cortland, Firth, Hickman, Hallam, Lincoln, Malcolm, Palmyra, Pleasant Dale, Raymond, Southeast, Southwest, Waverly, 911 Center, Star Care ,Health Department, and Emergency Management.
Minutes from August 15th were read and approved.
Treasurer's report read and approved.
BUSINESS
The Carstar class in Lincoln is full. They still have openings for the Omaha classes. Greg from the radio Shop went to Hallam and checked all their equipment. There was a lot of discussion over the Airshow. Both Raymond and Southeast were pretty upset they weren’t utilized and pulled and Ambulance and crew out of service and their districts for three days. Both Departments said they probably wouldn’t volunteer again unless things change. Doug Ahlberg suggested contacting the County Attorney’s Office and have them get with The City Attorney’s Office and discuss the City ambulance ordinance for cases like this. For those attending Dave Joyce’s funeral and bringing vehicles for the procession please arrive at the Raymond Station between 0930 and 1000.
Committees
EMS- Jason Krueger is the New medical Director. The Mutual Aid reps to the EMS oversight system will be Pat O’Brien with Hallam for transporting departments with Greg Hall from Raymond as his backup and Justin Apel from Bennet for non transporting departments with Jim Densberger from Malcolm as his backup. Jan Shaner with Starcare is our contact point for patient follow up. Her phone # is 481 5006. Greg says that fourth quarter invoices have been sent out and the new contract is out. Southeast is building additions to both stations and the Holdrege station addition should be done by mid December. Firths new Panama station is open. Tim Norris says that Paul Davis Restoration is certified to clean turnout gear now
