About the Board of Health
The nine-member Board of Health is composed of a physician, dentist, County Commissioner, City Council member and five public minded individuals. Appointees are approved by the Mayor, City Council and County Board of Commissioners. The Board of Health responsibilities include program direction and public health policy making.
The Board of Health meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the Training Center - 3140 N St., Lincoln, NE 68510
