Who is Eligible

Need help determining your eligibility for WIC benefits? Use the USDA Food and Nutrition Service's WIC Pre-screening tool and find out!

• Pregnant Women
• Breastfeeding Women - up to the infant's first birthday
• Newly Delivered Mothers - up to six months after the birth of the infant or the end of the pregnancy
• Infants
• Children - up to age 5
• Foster Infants and Children - birth to age 5

Also...

• You must live in Nebraska
• Have a nutrition or health risk - WIC staff will complete an assessment
• Meet income guidelines
  1. Currently enrolled in Medicaid, TANF or SNAP; OR
  2. Have a before tax (gross) household income at or below the guidelines established by the USDA:
