Community Improvement Grant Application

The Keep Lincoln & Lancaster County Beautiful Community Improvement Grant Program promotes litter cleanups and recycling in Lincoln and Lancaster County. Grants are awarded to community groups and individuals who conduct litter cleanup projects in public areas - along streets, curbs, alleys and sidewalks, in parks and other open spaces. The main objective of these grant applications must be to pick up loose litter in public places. Refer to the Community Improvement Grant Guidelines for additional information about this application.

Project Location: Be as detailed as possible. Include street address, neighborhood, park name, stretch of road or other relevant information.

Project Description: Provide a brief description of the project. Explain the need for this project, how the project benefits public areas, plan for litter disposal, estimated number of participants, partnerships and opportunities for education.

Recycling Plan: Explain how recycling will be incorporated into the project. Include how recycled material will be separated from trash and how recyclables will be disposed of.
