Guidelines for KLLCB Mini-Grant Applications
Deadline for completion of project is December 1 of each year.
The Final Report form must be completed and sent to the Keep Lincoln & Lancaster County
Beautiful (KLLCB) within two weeks (14 days) of project completion or funds may be
redistributed to other groups requesting grants.
Groups must plan, organize and implement projects. KLLCB will assist you as best it can. KLLCB
has orange safety vests available for loaning to cleanup campaigns. Trash bags are provided.
The purpose of this program is promote cleanups and recycling in Lincoln and Lancaster County.
Your project must incorporate a recycling plan in order to receive funding. Grant amount will
be based on the amount of cleanup that involves public land and use areas and the number of
volunteers and the amount of litter to be cleaned up.
The completed project MUST be documented on the Final Report form and submitted to KLLCB no
later than two weeks (14 days) after completion. The Final Report form may be completed
here. Documentation must include the following:
Number of participants.
List of all organizations involved.
Number of hours spent planning, organizing and implementing project.
Several photographs of before and after completion of project. Action shots
should also be included. KLLCB has a digital camera that may be loaned out.
A list of donations or in-kind contributions (meals, refreshments, postage,
flyers, tools, vehicles, etc.).
A brief description of your cleanup project specifying the public land area
cleaned, recycling efforts, and beautification/community enhancement. How you
planned and implemented the project, any problems you encountered, etc.
Any ideas or suggestions on changes you would like to see regarding this program.
If no photopraphs of the litter cleanup effort are provided (digital pictures sent by email
are OK), the minigrant award will be reduced.
A Final Report Form and Payment Voucher will be sent to you upon receipt and approval of your
Cleanup Mini-Grant Application.
