Home and Community Based nursing offers various services throughout Lancaster County. Our home visitation services are directed towards prenatal, postpartum and infant education. We do not take the place of your routine doctor visits. We provide extra teaching and assessments. Some of the areas a PHN can help you in are:

• Caring for your baby
• Family Planning
• Helping your baby learn and grow
• Immunization schedules
• Childhood diseases
• And most importantly enjoying your baby

Our community outreach includes health stations where we do health assessments and teaching throughout Lancaster County. We have health support groups available for spanish and arabic speaking women.

We also have public health nurses who are very knowledgeable about preconception health and do various education presentations to organizations in Lancaster County. We can also provide some school health services on a contractual basis.
