Being well and healthy is the cornerstone of successful living at any age. At Aging Partners we work to maximize your ability to enjoy life to its fullest, at 60 and beyond.

Nutritious Food

Our Senior Center guests enjoy meals that are carefully planned out by a registered dietitian and they supply at least one-third of the U.S. Dietary Reference Intake for older adults. We also have other meal options, such as Meals-to-Go and home-delivered meals.

Promoting Your Brain's Health

Aging Partners offers resources for keeping older brains active and healthy, such as computer classes, public computers, puzzles, pool games, card and board games, music, classes, Wii bowling and an ever-changing lineup of activities at the Senior Centers. Contact a Senior Center near you as schedules vary.

Physical Fitness

Aging Partners offers a full array of fitness equipment and frequent exercise classes. You can also watch our fitness and exercise programs on 10 Health TV or on 5 City-TV. Fitness Center staff will be happy to keep you apprised of schedules. Our personal trainers are available to help you assess your current fitness level. We start any exercise program at exactly where you are now.

Evidence-based Programs

Evidence-based programs are programs that have demonstrated through rigorous evaluation that they are effective for improving health or reducing disease or disability. They are endorsed by the National Council on Aging and the Centers for Disease Control. Leaders and instructors are certified through appropriate licensing organizations.

Evidence-based programs currently offered through Aging Partners are the Stanford Living Well and Diabetes Self-Management Workshops, Tai Chi – Moving for Better Balance and Stepping On – Building Confidence and Reducing Falls.

Health Clinics and Screenings

Aging Partners offers health clinics and screenings such as comprehensive foot and ear care, blood pressure and blood glucose checks and bone density testing. We also provide education to help older adults improve and manage their health concerns.

Aging Partners also offers many health education opportunities throughout the community. One of these is Living Well with Chronic Conditions. This nationally-recognized, six-week program helps people take an active role in understanding and taking control of their conditions. Many participants have been able to avoid crisis situations and reduce their medical expenses. For information on these workshops or other educational opportunities, contact Health and Fitness.

Live & Learn

A monthly TV show for and about adults age 60 and over on LNKTV, (ALLO Channel 2, Spectrum Channel 1300, Kinectic Channel 1005) and video-on-demand.

  • Thursdays at 7 p.m.
  • Fridays at 11:30 a.m.
  • Sundays at 3:30 p.m.
  • Sundays at 9 p.m.

Mental and Emotional Health

Do you or is a loved one experiencing stress, grief, depression or a more serious mental health challenge? Aging Partners offers a wide spectrum of services to support the important work of caregiving, including stress management, respite care, fitness and nutrition counseling, education and support groups, and more.

For those suffering from serious, persistent mental health issues such as depression, substance abuse, obsessive compulsive hoarding or bipolar disorders, schizophrenia and other conditions, we have specialists to assist you with planning, guidance and support.
