Welcome to Fillmore County Senior Services

Fillmore County Senior Services is dedicated to helping older individuals live independently and remain an active and vital part of the Community. We are a resource for older adults and their families for information about the network of services available and we work to provide that all older persons in Fillmore County have access to social, educational and recreational programs.

Fillmore County Senior Services is jointly sponsored by county, State and Federal funds made available through the Fillmore County Board of Supervisors and the Aging Partners. Contributions for services and donations also help to support the Program.

All activities and services of the Fillmore County Senior Services Program are provided without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or disability.

Hours of Operation

Fillmore County Senior Services is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to
5 p.m. except for recognized County Holidays and inclement weather. If in doubt, please call (402) 759-4922 for information.

Senior Centers in Fillmore County

Senior Centers in Fillmore County are located in Exeter, Fairmont and Geneva.
The Centers are community meeting places where older persons can come together for fellowship, group meals, recreation and learning. A noon meal is available for a suggested donation for individuals 60 years of age or older. Meals are also available for Individuals under 60 for a fee. There are individual, extenuating circumstances that may qualify someone to receive a noon meal for a suggested donation. Please call and visit with the Fillmore County Program Manager for details.

Special services and activities at the Centers include: Educational presentations,
Arts & Humanities programs, Community service projects, card parties, bean bag tournaments, blood pressure checks, pedicures and manicures, inter-generational activities and much more!

Home Delivered Meals

Meals are available throughout Fillmore County. Each meal is one-third of the recommended daily nutritional needs for an individual. The meals are delivered by volunteers dedicated to helping others. Modified diets are also available with doctor's orders.
