Appointed by the City Council, this administrative board is entrusted with the administration of the public library system. It works to improve library services through the efficient use of funds, to support adequate funding for library services, and to promote the best use of all library resources. See Lincoln Municiple Code 4.20 for more information.
Special Requirements: Must be resident of the City of Lincoln.
This board is responsible for the control and management of the property, personnel, facilities, equipment and finances of the Lincoln Electric System.
Special Requirements: Must be an LES ratepayer and live within an area which includes Lincoln's incorporated limits, Waverly, Prairie Home, Walton, Cheney and Emerald.
The Board of Commissioners is the policy-making body of the Lincoln Housing Authority. It selects and employs the Executive Director and is responsible for the bylaws, tenant admission and continued occupancy policies, personnel policy, procurement policy, investment policy, authorization of new applications for financial assistance in developing subsidized housing, and approval of board meeting minutes.
Special Requirements: Attendance at regular and special meetings is required.
