City Advisory Boards
Appointed by the City Council, this administrative board is entrusted with the administration of the public library system. It works to improve library services through the efficient use of funds, to support adequate funding for library services, and to promote the best use of all library resources. See Lincoln Municipal Code 4.20 for more information.

Special Requirements: Must be resident of the City of Lincoln.
This board is responsible for the control and management of the property, personnel, facilities, equipment and finances of the Lincoln Electric System.
Special Requirements: Must be an LES ratepayer and live within an area which includes Lincoln's incorporated limits, Waverly, Prairie Home, Walton, Cheney and Emerald.
The Lincoln Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is a policy-making body and is responsible for successfully operating several federal, state and local housing assistance programs in accordance with various federal, state, and local regulations. The LHA Board employs the Executive Director and is responsible for approving the LHA operating budget, Section 8 voucher administrative policies, tenant admission and continued occupancy policies, LHA personnel policy, procurement policy, investment policy , maintenance of LHA property and the development of affordable housing units.
Special Requirements: Attendance at regular and special meetings is required.
