Mayor Don Wesely today invited residents of Lincoln and Lancaster County to attend a second round of workshops on the development of a new Comprehensive Plan, a framework for future growth in the city and county. Eight initial meetings were held in January, and five more are now scheduled for April 18 and 19.
The current Comprehensive Plan has been revised many times since its 1994 completion, and officials hope to have a new draft plan by the end of 2001. Discussion at the workshops will focus on where the city is now and where citizens want it to be in the future. Workshops are scheduled for:
