Intersection of 56th and "P" To Close Monday The intersection of 56th and "P" streets will close the morning of Monday, June 17 while crews reconstruct North 56th Street as part of the East "O" Street project. The intersection is scheduled to be closed until the second week of July.

Businesses on the north side of "O" Street that have been accessible only from North 56th Street can be reached by their "O" Street driveways beginning June 15. At that time, "O" Street traffic between 52nd Street and Eastridge Drive will shift to the north side of the street, and those business driveways will re-open. The traffic shift will be in effect until mid-September 2002.
