PUBLIC INVITED TO COMMENT ON CABLE TELEVISION SERVICE

The City’s Cable Television Advisory Board is conducting a public hearing from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 22 to give citizens an opportunity to comment on cable television service in Lincoln. The hearing will be in Room 113, first floor of the County-City Building, 555 South 10th Street.

The meeting is being held in connection with the renewal of the cable television franchise agreement with Time Warner. The public is invited to discuss the past and current performance of the cable operator and to identify the future cable and telecommunications needs of the community.

Those who have comments but cannot attend the hearing may mail their comments to Diane Gonzolas, Citizen Information Center, 555 South 10th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508.

The hearing will be aired on 5 CITY-TV, cable channel 5. A schedule of 5 CITY-TV programs is available on the city web site, www.lincoln.ne.gov.
