TOWN HALL MEETING PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER 22nd
Those arriving early can tour the new North Star High School

Mayor Coleen J. Seng will host her first Town Hall meeting the evening of Monday, September 22 at the new North Star High School, 5801 North 33rd Street. All City departments will be represented, and all residents of the City are welcome.

“I encourage the public to come see the City’s newest high school and to share their ideas on important City issues,” said Mayor Seng. “I have always believed that direct contact is one of the best ways to hear the concerns of citizens, and this is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together for discussion.”

A tour of North Star will be offered at 6:30 p.m. The Town Hall begins at 7 p.m. with a reception. At 7:30, the Mayor will make brief remarks and introduce representatives of the City departments. The public will then have an opportunity to ask questions. Individuals may ask one question and one follow-up question until all wishing to speak have been heard. At 8:30, there will be an opportunity for informal follow-up discussion.

The City’s government access channel, 5 CITY-TV, will tape the 7:30 to 8:30 portion of the meeting to be aired at later dates on cable channel 5.
