Lincoln Mayor Don Wesely today stood on a bumpy graveled portion of West Adams
Street that leads to new homes in northwest Lincoln to drive home the need for
impact fees to be passed Monday by the City Council.

Stan Heng, the former Adjutant General of Nebraska, will chair the Hometown
Security Study Committee named January 27 by Mayor Wesely. Other members of
the committee will include City Council Members Ken Svoboda and Annette McRoy
and County Commissioner Larry Hudkins.
