Kindergarten Kickoff Mayor Seng helped announce plans for the Kindergarten Kickoff at a news conference at the Lincoln Children's Museum August 5. All incoming Lincoln kindergarteners are invited to get a library card and a free t-shirt at any City Library. The children are then invited to the Children's Museum the week of August 9 for a free party. The event is a project of the Children's Museum, Lincoln City Libraries, the City of Lincoln, Lincoln Public Schools and Ventures in Partnership. |

Happy Birthday, Old City Hall! "Mayor Coleen J. Seng addresses the audience gathered Saturday afternoon (October 9) to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Old City Hall building at Ninth and O streets in downtown Lincoln. During the festivities, Seng and Parks Director Lynn Johnson also unveiled plans for a new public park on the block." |
