Mayor Coleen J. Seng invites the public to a Town Hall meeting the evening of Monday, March 14 at Scott Middle School, 2200 Pine Lake Road. A reception will begin at 7 p.m., and the Town Hall meeting is scheduled for 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. All City departments will be represented at the meeting. “Our City is facing many important issues including infrastructure funding and the City budget,” said Mayor Seng. “It is very important to offer citizens an opportunity for to talk directly to City officials on these and other issues.” At 7:30 p.m., the Mayor will make brief remarks and introduce representatives of the City departments. The public will then have an opportunity to ask questions on any topic relating to City government. At 8:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity for informal follow-up discussion. The City’s government access channel, 5 CITY-TV, will tape the 7:30 to 8:30 portion of the meeting to be aired at later dates on cable channel 5. |
