At a news conference October 13 at Perkins Restaurant, Mayor Seng announced that O Street from 45th to 52nd streets will be closed for about one year for construction. At the podium is Gary Kulm of Perkins. Mayor Seng announced Oct. 18 that she has selected Heathrow Development to purchase the "K" Street storage facility. Heathrow, represented by Katie Halperin and Matt Maude, plans to renovate the former power plant into residential space.
