48th and "O" Redevelopment

Mayor Seng announced the redevelopment project for the south side of "O" Street between 48th and 50th streets at a news conference November 10.

Mayor Announces Plans for East "O" Project

At a news conference October 13 at Perkins Restaurant, Mayor Seng announced that O Street from 45th to 52nd streets will be closed for about one year for construction. At the podium is Gary Kulm of Perkins. Seated at left is Fred Freytag, President of the Witherbee Neighborhood Association, and seated at right is Karl Fredickson, Director of the City Public Works and Utilities Department.


Mayor Seng Says Sale Of City Building Will Expand Tax Base And Stimulate Private Investment

Mayor Seng announced Oct. 18 that she has selected Heathrow Development to purchase the "K" Street storage facility. Heathrow, represented by Katie Halperin and Matt Maude, plans to renovate the former power plant into residential space.
